Zarqash is progressive Indian fine dining at The Ritz-Carlton Bangalore where tradition meets innovation under the direction of Michelin-starred Chef Rohit Ghai. 

The name pays tribute to Zar (gold) and Kashida (embroidery), reflecting a philosophy of patience, precision, and artistry. The menu celebrates Pan Indian and North-West Indian cuisine with a contemporary approach, playful small plates, refined mains, and indulgent desserts.

Zarqash launched where Riwaz once stood, a restaurant Bangalore diners already knew. The familiarity was a double-edged sword. Some would compare. Some would resist. And some would simply not notice the change. 

Chef Rohit Ghai's vision was progressive, artisanal, and deeply personal. But the space carried old associations. The challenge was to make Zarqash feel distinct, not a rebrand, but a reimagination.
